"Never Underestimate the Power of Travel Plans."
A. When to Travel
B. Visa and other Requirements
1. E-visa - Visa on Arrival is an a least priority for some but it is more convenient to cross the Armenian borders or leave the airport earlier without undergoing some interviews. The points are, time is gold and vacation is always short 😊. It will take only few minutes of paid office time to apply for electronic visa.

2. Valid passport. I always renew mine in 1 year to 6 months before expiry date.
3. Travel itinerary/ return ticket - fare hikes as peak season approaches so be an early bird to be able to catch the first worm 😅.
4. Hotel bookings - general rule: cheaper rates are fully booked first especially during peak seasons.
C. Things to Prepare
Make you own checklists of items to bring (hard copy or mobile notepad). Do not trust yourself in times like this as regrets may surprise you anytime. Here are some:
1. Fully charged cameras/ mobile, tripod, extra batteries, extra memory cards and chargers.
2. Power bank - never miss this
3. First aid/emergency kit - band aid, hand sanitizer/ alcohol, etc. - i remember providing a band aid to a small cut on the hand of a young girl during one of my travels, she stopped crying on the tourist bus.
4. Flashlight - small and handy is always on my bag, life at night is something to consider
5. Sunlight protection like sun glasses and skin sunblock, handkerchief, hat and others during summer and jacket of course during winter, make it 2 or more as you will not like having the same outfit on all your photos.
6. Water bottle - water dispenser is everywhere on the parks and streets - you will save money on buying water every time.
7. Toothbrush/toothpaste, mint... - you'll never expect the power of destiny 😁.
8. Small notebook and pen - saving mobile power is sometimes necessary. Pen is also used as emergency weapon
9. List of places to travel - Time Management is a skill
D. Upon Arrival
Locate for internet sim and buy data. It helps a lot in tracking your location, social media interaction and of course locating some tourist destinations. Also, majority of Armenians i believe based on experience do not speak English, Google Translate is your friend.
If you are not renting a car or through travel agencies, or for short distance travels download the taxi app wherein i recommend "Bolt". Same function as Uber as commonly used in other countries and you will not be over charged by some opportunist.
